Retired on Medicare plus younger spouse on employer pre-65 retiree health insurance - I would be paying substantially more than when I was employed. I qualified for a "retiree reimbursement account" (aka RRA) that pays $1,350 of my yearly Medicare gap insurance premiums. Once my spouse reaches age 65 my costs will go down.
