(It's been a while. I've been in the throws of HVAC replacement quotes, which has been surprisingly difficult and time consuming.)

The title of this video caught my eye because, if I had a time machine, I would have saved more cash near the end of my career instead of putting every extra dollar into my 401k. This video doesn't talk about cash savings at retirement. However it does touch on some things that I think are important to people who are approaching retirement. If you have a financial advisor, or are using online retirement modeling tools, you're familiar with the Monte Carlo score. Do you need that score to be 100% to retire? How low can that score be and still indicate a successful retirement? Can you affect any of this late in your career?

Spoiler. Near the end of the video, he posses this question:

"Am I simply putting padding on something that is already good?"
