Retirement: It's harsh, but if you want to retire, you need to hear this
(I'm going to send another email shortly concerning the Corning Group Universal Life insurance and retirement. Was going to be a sentence but has morphed to a story all by itself.)
This video is a little over 18 minutes long. The first half of the video focuses on understanding what tools that use Monte Carlo simulations are telling you, and what they don't tell you. The 2nd half of the video goes on to describe a safe withdrawal strategy that I had not heard of before. Sort of a framework for calculating and tracking retirement spending that may help with year-end planning.
I would say this video is useful for folks who have started to ask the "how much do I need to retire?" question. May also be useful to retirees. If you're young and just in the saving stage, it may not be too interesting.

This video is a little over 13 minutes long. The thing that grabbed at the beginning - "I wish I'd known this information 15 years ago." I said this to myself over the last few years while I was really thinking about retirement. Pretty good advice.
