I know, I know. This is not really a retirement topic. Unfortunately this topic does come up about the time we all decide to retire. Usually it's our parents that may go through this, and the children need to be engaged to navigate a topic nobody knows much about. For anyone who's been through this with their parents, I've heard them say that they don't want it to be that complicated when it's their time. My figurative question back to them is this - what are we going to do to make this easier for our children? I don't have an answer.
